BREAKING INTO HOLLYWOOD WITH A SELF-FUNDED SHORT FILM? IMPOSSIBLE!!
We’ll know by Sunday when I’m meeting Julie Alp to discuss the project. She cut the digital feature, Jinx Sister, which starred Sara Wiseman who, in a twist of fate, was attached to “Be Careful…” for a while before being replaced by Lisa Chappell. (Due to availability issues – there were no thrown toys!) She’s also cut some shorts and has worked as an assistant editor on Whale Rider and other features and TV series. Hope she likes me… (Or, at least: the project.)
