Clearly there needs to be some sort of post-mortem about how and why I missed out on funding from Creative New Zealand’s Screen Innovation Production Fund. I had asked for $7500 to cover postproduction costs. This application was unsuccessful. I found this out last Wednesday. On Friday I spoke with the liaison person from SIPF, but she really wasn’t able to shed any light on the decision.
Of course, I have my own theories which I may elaborate on in later posts… we’ll see…
In the meantime: remember to stay tuned for our special screenwriting and film-making expert. I have some footage of her to post on this blog – but I’m having some techincal issues getting the video from the DVcam to the blog.
Trust me: she’ll be worth the wait!
