BREAKING INTO HOLLYWOOD WITH A SELF-FUNDED SHORT FILM? IMPOSSIBLE!!
On the last day (night, actually) of the shoot I wore a t-shirt I got from a guy who did a script assessment on one of my spec feature scripts. (He was tough, but fair – and insightful.) His name is Michael Ray Brown and his company is Story Sense. He’s been described by Creative Screenwriting magazine as someone who provides “First rate analysis at a cut-rate price.”
I thought his logo “make it the best it can be” was a great mantra for the cast and crew, as well as being a great mantra for any screenwriter, of course.
Here’s his website:

Oh, and you’ll also see a couple of stills from the shoot with yours truly modelling said shirt – see below…
Stay tuned for a very special guest expert who’ll discuss the writing and film-making process. I promise you’ll be blown away at her insightful commentary…
